Our History

Ensite Business Technology was officially incorporated in May 2005 and is a private Limited company, which is wholly owned by the two I.T. directors.

The company had in essence been the inevitable brainchild of two employees
of the multi-national Sanmina-SCi corporation, and both of whom who had
independently laid the foundations of the company in the previous two years.

Scott Percival and Robert Polland had quite separately built on ideas to launch
an internet solutions company and a computer & I.T. hardware support company,
but who through good fortune and fate came to be colleagues and friends,
allowing them to integrate their ideas and launch their I.T.Company to serve
the business and retail communities.

Scott and Robert had between them a cluster of higher academic qualifications
to HND standard and beyond, including Electronic Engineering,
Network Support, Electrical Engineering, Graphic Design and Computer Science.

Additionally, and perhaps more importantly they have amassed experience
in their associated backgrounds of over a total 50 years between them,
and all in technical roles of technician, engineer, or specialist.

A role call of the related companies that Robert & Scott have worked
for include IBM, Sanmina-SCI, National Semiconductor, Pilkington Electronics,
Rachal Guardall, and a cluster of small local electronics companies.

During the first 3 years of business, Ensite Business Technology Ltd had secured a
reputation as an I.T. company that is dependable, dynamic and friendly,
the company has already become the first choice of many businesses within
the Inverclyde area, and their Internet Portfolio shows flare, imagination and the
ability to help businesses take advantage of new media technologies and the
incredible opportunities afforded by the internet and the World Wide Web.

In May 2008, Ensite Business Technology changed it’s focus, to entirely support the business community,

and moved from it’s retail based premises in West Stewart Street, Greenock to it’s new office suite at Victoria House..

In 2014, Ensite changed their registered office to the new Aves Business Centre in Greenock, where a cluster of local businesses continue to expand their offerings and horizons.
